Museum Of Science And Industry Selling Prints From Photo Collection

CHICAGO (CBS) -- If you've always wished you could own one of the photos on display at the Museum of Science and Industry, now's your chance.

WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports the museum is selling prints, posters, canvases and wall clings of images from its collection to raise money for its teacher and student education programming.

Among the images: historic photos from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, the famous White City from which the museum building originated; unique watercolor scenes from the 1933 Century of Progress World's Fair; and pictures of the 1944 capture of the Museum's U-505 German submarine.

The museum says it will expand the items for sale in the coming months. To see the images up for sale, click here.
