Motel Deaths Were Murder-Suicide: Arlington Heights Police

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (AP) -- Police in a Chicago suburb are investigating what they say is a murder-suicide of two people who were found stabbed to death in a hotel room.

In a news release, the Arlington Heights Police Department says that the bodies were discovered on Thursday afternoon after staff entered their locked room and found the bodies.

The release says that a man stabbed 41-year-old Cecilia Perez of Aurora before stabbing himself. It also says the two had been in a dating relationship.

The man's name was not immediately released Friday.
