Weather alerts have been posted to give everyone an early heads-up that we will be dealing with inclement weather.

Rainfall totals could add up to more than 2 inches over the course of those 48 hours.

Widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, we will get a small break in the action before more soaking rain arrives by late-morning and eventually, as temperatures quickly drop off, the rain will lead to snow on the backside of the storm system.

Winds will be aggressive as well on Wednesday with gusts near if not over 40 mph.

In the short term, on Sunday night, lows will drop into the 20s with increasing clouds.
