More Than 220 Flights Canceled Saturday Because Of East Coast Storm

(STMW) -- More than 220 flights were canceled at Chicago airports Saturday morning because of the large snow storm that hit the East Coast over the weekend.

Airlines have canceled more than 170 flights at O'Hare International Airport, according to the Chicago Department of Aviation. Midway International Airport canceled more than 50 flights.

Travelers should check the status of their flights with their specific airlines for more details, the department said. Nearly 200 flights were canceled Friday due to the storm.

Snow has blanketed parts of the mid-Atlantic since Friday, including Baltimore and Washington, D.C., according to the National Weather Service. Some areas have seen more than two feet of snow.
