More Than 100 Drummers Come To Chicago For 'Drum Fantasy Camp'

(CBS) – They march to their very own beat: drummers who love their instrument so much, they marched from across the globe to right here in Chicago for a special camp.
CBS 2's Vince Gerasole reports.
More than 100 percussionists from around the world have come to Vic's Drum Shop in West Town for "Drum Fantasy Camp."
"I'd have to say it's the primal animal we all have inside of us," drummer Antonio Sanchez says.
The instructors are heavy hitters. Dave Weckl is recognized as one of the best in the world. Sanchez wrote the award-winning drum score for Michael Keaton's film "Birdman."
The students and their instructors are wrapping up the camp with a performance at Martyrs in North Center Tuesday night.
