Mom Who Gave Daughter Fatal Dose Of Medicine Expected To Be Freed On Bond

(CBS) -- A Schaumburg woman convicted of giving her disabled daughter a lethal dose of medication is expected to get out of prison on Friday.

That's is while Bonnie Liltz appeals the conviction.

Liltz's attorney confirms bond has been granted for her.

She was sentenced to four years in prison, for giving her daughter a lethal dose of medication through her feeding tube.

Her attorney says Liltz is in very poor health, and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office is not fighting her request to get out on bond.
