Mom Of Teen Fatally Shot By Police Files Lawsuit

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The mother of a teen shot and killed by police has filed a federal lawsuit against the city and two officers, alleging "police have no regard for the sanctity of life when it comes to people of color."

The teen's memorial service was held yesterday.

"That was our lamb, right there," said Araewa Karen Winters, Loury's great-aunt. "So you all done came and got the lamb."

The city's law department hadn't seen the lawsuit and had no comment.
