Moises Sierra Added To Active Roster

(CBS) -- Outfielder Moises Sierra has been added to the active roster and Conor Gillaspie has been sent to AAA Charlotte on an injury rehabilitation assignment.

The Sox claimed Sierra, 25, off of waivers on Saturday. The Toronto Blue Jays designated Sierra for assignment on MAY 1 after he hit 2-34 in 34 games this season.

Gillaspie has been on the disabled list since April 26 with a left-hand contusion.
