Michael Jordan Is 'Pretty Sure' He Could Beat Hornets Players In 1-On-1

(CBS) -- Former Bulls superstar Michael Jordan may be 52 now, but he's still confident he could take and beat some NBA players in a one-on-one game.

Jordan, the owner of the Charlotte Hornets, recently gave an interview to the French sports newspaper L'Equipe in which the reporter asked if he still plays against his players and if he could beat them in one-on-one.

Confident as always, Jordan answered in the affirmative.

"I'm pretty sure I can, so I don't want to do that and demolish their confidence" Jordan said, according to the newspaper. "So I stay away from them, I let them think they're good ... but I'm too old to do that anyway."

Jordan hasn't played in the NBA since 2003, when he finished the last of his two seasons with the Wizards. He led the Bulls to six championships prior to that.
