Michael Bennett Staying In Seattle?

(CBS) Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett -- a pending free agent whose brother and Bears tight end Martellus has been trying to recruit him to Chicago -- will re-sign with the Seahawks, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday.

However, another report from ProFootballTalk said nothing is imminent.

So it appears like there's still a chance for interested suitors, of which the Bears would seem like one. A lack of a pass rush haunted Chicago in 2013, and Bennett had a breakthrough season with 8.5 sacks. As usual, it will likely be all about how the money lines up, for both sides. Even the outspoken Martellus understands that much, saying last week that "Benjamin Franklin is also our brother."
