"She has a form of autism that makes her unable to care for herself. She simply has a diminished mental capacity," he says.

Police are worried someone could exploit that, as happened when Nora wandered away from her school in Lombard in July.

"A man ended up picking her up and they found her together with this man later on."

Nora left with no ID, no phone and nothing but the clothes she was wearing: black yoga pants, a burgundy sweater and purple framed glasses.

Glen Ellyn police are asking anyone who sees her to contact them.
