Members Of Chicago Area Transgender Community Happy For Caitlyn Jenner, But Say Others Deserve Award For Courage
(CBS) -- Caitlyn Jenner is getting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs tomorrow night.
Some members of the Chicago area's transgender community say: That's great, but a lot of people have been courageous.

"It was really kind of boring because it was simply everything that we go through and have gone through," said Olivia Connors.
Connors is a 69-year-old trans woman, born in Chicago and works at Transformations in Arlington Heights, which gives clients makeovers and helps them make the transition to trans.
Connors doesn't have anything against Caitlyn Jenner. She just questions whether she should get the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
"Great, but there's so much more courage out there. There really is...
"You know, I know somebody who was in the Vietnam War and who was missing a limb because of that. She's transgendered. So yeah, there's a lot of courage out there. And just because you have a name and fame doesn't necessarily mean you should get an award."
