McDonald's Partners With Ex-Mythbuster To Answer Food Questions

(CBS) -- McDonald's is partnering with Grant Imahara, a former cast member of the TV show Mythbusters, to answer consumers' questions on food at the restaurants in a series of online videos.

The videos are part of the Oak Brook based chain's "Our Food. Your Questions." Campaign. People can submit questions by tweeting @McDonalds, using their Facebook page, or by using McDonalds.com.

The videos will be posted on McDonald's Youtube page and the first one was posted Monday. In it, Imahara visits Cargill, one of their U.S. beef suppliers.

The campaign comes in the wake of a scandal in China last July where a McDonald's meat supplier was shown on a TV report repacking expired meat. That supplier, Shanghai Husi Food Co., is a division of Aurora-based OSI.
