Suspicious Package At McDonald's HQ Was Media Player

CHICAGO (CBS) -- McDonald's corporate headquarters in west suburban Oak Brook were evacuated late Friday morning, after someone found a suspicious package that turned out to be a digital media player.

Oak Brook police said a 911 call about a suspicious package at McDonald's headquarters at 10:42 a.m.

The 1,300 employees at the building were evacuated as a precaution.

Around 1 p.m., the DuPage County Bomb Squad determined the package was a digital media player, and police gave the all clear.
