Mass Exodus Expected Over Holiday Weekend

(CBS) -- The Fourth of July weekend will see the highest number of travelers in years, as gas prices hover around $4 a gallon.

Forty-one million people are expected to travel more than 50 miles from home, according to AAA Chicago Motor Club. Eight of 10 of them will be by car.

CBS 2's Roseanne Tellez talks with travelers who expect to hit the road this holiday weekend.

Lauren Cupples of Atlanta flew into Milwaukee and then took the train to Chicago.

"Coming from Atlanta, that's what our vacation is all about. No liability. Not worrying about it," she says.

With this cab ride, they've now taken a plane,  train and automobile with no complaints.
