Married Couple Found Stabbed To Death In Montgomery
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A married couple was found stabbed to death Friday night at their home in southwest suburban Montgomery.
Just before 9:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home in the 2000 block of Kate Court in Montgomery for a possible death investigation, according to a statement from Montogmery police. They arrived to find a 48-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.
The victims, who were married and both lived in the home, were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Kendall County coroner's office responded to the scene, but the victims' identities were withheld Saturday morning pending notification of their families.
Authorities were conducting a death investigation, and the circumstances of the deaths were still being determined, police said. Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services were assisting with processing the scene.
