Married Couple Found Shot To Death In Burbank Home

CHICAGO (CBS) --A married couple was found shot to death inside their home Tuesday evening in southwest suburban Burbank.

About 5:30 p.m., a relative found 62-year-old Susan Fritz and her 64-year-old husband Raymond Fritz dead at the house in the 8500 block of Laramie Avenue, according to Burbank police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene at 5:46 p.m., the medical examiner's office said. Autopsies were scheduled for Wednesday.

Officers found a firearm nearby, and there were no signs of forced entry or "further foul play," police said.

"While this is an ongoing investigation, there is no threat to the community or to the public," police said.
