Mark your calendar: next total solar eclipse is two years from today

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Mark your calendar for two years from today. 

On  April 8, 2024 there will be another total solar eclipse.  

The last total solar eclipse visible in the U.S. took place on Aug. 21, 2017. 

In 2017, hundreds of people watched the eclipse from Chicago's lakefront.
