Man, 19, Fatally Shot In Auburn Gresham

(STMW) -- A man was fatally shot Sunday evening in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was standing outside in the 8400 block of South Loomis at 6:53 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later died, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the fatality, but did not immediately release additional details.
