Man Wounded In Little Village Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot several times in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday night.

The 18-year-old was walking about 8:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Trumbull Avenue when someone in a dark-colored SUV started yelling "gang slogans" at him, police said. That person exited the car and shot the man in both legs.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
