CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side Tuesday night.

The 25-year-old man was walking in the 2000 block of North Pulaski Road about 9:15 p.m. when a black vehicle pulled up and someone yelled gang slogans and fired at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and took himself to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, where he was treated and released, police said.
