Man Wounded In Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot multiple times early Wednesday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 28-year-old was in a vehicle at 1:43 a.m. in the 7300 block of South Yale when a black SUV drove up and someone inside started shooting, according to Chicago police.

The man suffered one gunshot wound to the hip, three to the buttocks and two to the left leg, police said. He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
