Man Wounded In Chicago Lawn Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday afternoon.

The 22-year-old man was standing outside in the 2400 block of West 69th Street around 3:15 p.m. when someone approached and fired shots, hitting him in the left foot and leg, police said. The shooter then left in a white SUV.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.
