Man Wounded In Foster Beach Shooting

(STMW) -- A 24-year-old man was shot and at Foster Beach Friday night near Uptown.

At 8:52 p.m. he was at the beach in the 5100 block of North Simonds Drive when someone approached him and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered graze wounds to the chest and neck and was taken in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.
