Man Killed In Bronzeville Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death in the Bronzeville neighborhood early Friday, police said.

About 1 a.m., the 38-year-old was shot in the chest and abdomen in the 4200 block of South Calumet Avenue, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office could not confirm the death early Friday.

Further details were not available early Friday.
