Man Wounded In Belmont Cragin Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot multiple times late Tuesday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 36-year-old was standing on a porch in the 3200 block of North Linder Avenue about 11:55 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the hand and leg and suffered a graze wound to the back, police said. He was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was listed in fair condition.
