Man Wounded In Austin Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 35-year-old man was shot in the foot and arm late Thursday in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 10:35 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Monroe Street, according to Chicago Police.

A friend drove him to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The man wasn't cooperating with investigators, who think the shooting was gang-related.
