Man With Hatchet Robs Pizza Place
(CBS) – A man brandishing a hatchet robbed a North Side pizza place earlier this week.
The manager of Papa John's in Edgewater says the man smashed open the cash register at his store on North Broadway on Thursday night.
The manager says he tried to trap the man inside the store by holding the front door closed from outside. The man, however, escaped through a back door.
Nobody was injured.
