Man Wearing Construction Vest Robs Mount Prospect Bank

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man wearing a construction vest robbed a bank Monday afternoon in northwest suburban Mount Prospect.

The suspect did not show a weapon when he robbed the Bank of America branch about 3:30 p.m. at 1080 Elmhurst Road, according to the FBI. No injuries were reported.

He was described as a white man, thought to be between 30 and 40 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9, weighing between 180 and 185 pounds with a medium build and a scruffy beard, the FBI said. The suspect was wearing an orange stocking cap, dark sunglasses, a dark scarf, a neon yellow construction vest over a dark hoodie and white knit gloves on his hands.
