Man Tries To Sexually Assault Woman Near Midway: Police
(CBS) – A woman tells police she was the victim of an attempted rape on the Southwest Side Thursday morning.
The reported attack occurred around 10 a.m. in the 5000 block of South Kostner Avenue, according to a community alert issued by the Chicago Police Department.
The 35-year-old victim says a man approached her in a dark blue SUV. He grabbed her and forced her into the vehicle, but the woman says she was able to fight him off and flee.
