Man, Teen Wounded In Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man and teenager were shot in Englewood Wednesday night on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 10:10 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Morgan Street, police said.

A 17-year-old boy and a 45-year-old man were talking outside when an SUV drove past, and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The teen, who was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, was shot under the arm and shoulder, police said. The man was taken to Christ Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. Conditions for both have stabilized.
