Man Stabbed To Death In South Loop

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was stabbed to death late Wednesday in the South Loop.

Ronald Thomas, 27, was stabbed in the chest during an argument with his 29-year-old wife or girlfriend at 8:40 p.m. in his apartment in the 2100 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

Police said the stabbing was a domestic-related homicide. The 29-year-old woman is in custody and charges are pending.
