Man Stabbed To Death In River Grove

(STMW) -- A 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed Friday morning in west suburban River Grove.

Sean J. Foley was stabbed at 11:11 a.m. in the 2300 block of North Leyden Avenue in River Grove, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office. He lived in the 2400 block of Oak Street in Franklin Park.

An autopsy Saturday found that Foley died from multiple sharp force injuries, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner's office.

River Grove police could not immediately provide more details.
