Man Stabbed To Death In Joliet
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Authorities are investigating the stabbing death of a southwest suburban Joliet man Monday afternoon.
Rudy Valdez, 25, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet at 4:50 p.m., according to the Will County coroner's office.
It was not immediately clear where or when the attack occurred.
The case is being investigated as a homicide, although the final cause and manner of Valdez's death is pending police, autopsy and toxicological reports, the coroner's office said.
Joliet police could not immediately provide further details about the incident early Tuesday.
