Man Stabbed To Death In Hyde Park Domestic Dispute

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was stabbed to death during a domestic fight in the Hyde Park neighborhood early Thursday, police said.

The 23-year-old was stabbed in the chest about 3:10 a.m. inside a residence in the 5100 block of South Hyde Park Boulevard, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he later died, according to police. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.

A 21-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene, Greer said. No charges were pending against her as of 5:30 a.m.
