Man Stabbed To Death In Humboldt Park Restaurant

(STMW) -- A man was stabbed to death early Saturday inside a restaurant in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 1:05 a.m., Hermenegil Do Viochis, 50, was stabbed in the chest during an argument with another 50-year-old man inside Taqueria El Taco Naco, 2640 W. Chicago Ave., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Do Viochis, of the 3800 block of West Diversey, was taken to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:22 a.m., authorities said.

No one has been taken into custody in connection with the stabbing as Area Central detectives conduct a homicide investigation.
