Man Shot To Death On South Side
(STMW) -- A man was killed in a drive-by shooting Thursday evening in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
The man, 23, was in the 900 block of West 83rd Street at 6:26 p.m. when a van drove by and multiple males inside fired at him, police News Affairs Officer Stacey Cooper said.
The van then drove away, Cooper said.
The man, who had not yet been identified Thursday night, was dead at the scene, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
