Man In Wheelchair Shot Through Door Of Ingleside Home

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man in a wheelchair was wounded when a bullet came through the door of his home early Monday in the Pullman neighborhood.

Police said a 27-year-old man in a wheelchair was sitting inside a home near 97th and Ingleside around 2:20 a.m., when a bullet came through the door, hitting him under his arm.

The victim was taken to the University of Chicago trauma center, where he was in fair condition, according to police.

No one was in custody Monday morning.

Area South detectives were investigating.
