Man Shot, Seriously Wounded At Gresham Party

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and seriously wounded at a party early Saturday in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

At 12:26 a.m., the 26-year-old was at the party in the 8800 block of South Marshfield when a group of people outside fired shots through the windows and door of the residence, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and was taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. No one else was injured.
