Man shot, critically injured in Rogers Park

A man was shot and critically injured in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood on Tuesday night. 

Around 9:20 p.m., Chicago police said a 36-year-old man was standing in the 7600 Block of North Paulina Street, just north of Howard Street and the Howard Red Line terminal, when shots were fired by a person who fled the scene.

The man was shot in the leg and taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made. 

Bemont Area detectives are investigating.
