Man Shot Multiple Times, Killed In Garfield Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man died after being shot multiple times in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side Saturday night.

The 20-year-old was in the 3400 block of West Madison Street about 11:30 p.m. when someone in a white minivan drove up and fired shots, striking the man in his head and chest, police said.

The man has been identified as Kendall Floyd, of the 3400 block of West Madison Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m.

Area North detectives are investigating.
