Man Shot While Driving In West Garfield Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 22-year-old man was shot repeatedly while driving in West Garfield Park early Thursday.

He showed up at Loretto Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds about 3:30 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The man told investigators he had been driving in the 4400 block of West Monroe when shots rang out and he realized he'd been struck, police said.

After the shooting he drove himself to the hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
