Man Dead Following Shooting In East Garfield Park

CHICAGO (CBS) – One man is dead following a shooting in East Garfield Park Saturday morning.

Police said around 7:23 a.m., an unknown vehicle approached and shot the 33-year-old victim multiple times on the 700 block of North Ridgeway. The victim's body was found laying on the sidewalk. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

No one is in custody. Area Four detectives were investigating.
