Man Shot While Inside Car In South Austin

CHICAGO (CBS) – A man was shot inside a car in the South Austin neighborhood Wednesday evening.

Police said around 5:41 p.m., the victim, 38, was inside of a vehicle on the 200 block of North Pine when he was struck by gunfire.

The victim was struck in the armpit area and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

No one is in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
