Man Shot In West Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 20-year-old man was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood on Monday evening.

He took himself to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center about 7:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the foot, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The man told police he had been shot in the 6700 block of South Hermitage Avenue, Greer said. He was listed in good condition.

Police said the man has documented gang ties.
