CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot early Wednesday in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

At 12:27 a.m., the 19-year-old was walking in the 100 block of West 72nd Street when two people walked up and asked him which gang he was in, according to Chicago Police. When the man said he wasn't in a gang, the suspects fired shots.

The man suffered two gunshot wounds to the left leg, one to each wrist and one to the shoulder, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
