Man Shot In Montclare

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot Wednesday night in the Montclare neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The man, 24, was shot in the abdomen, back and arm about 11:40 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Newcastle Avenue, police said.

He transported himself to Presence Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center and was later transferred to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stable, police said.

A police source said the man has gang affiliations.
