Man Shot In Irving Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot early Friday in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 27-year-old man was walking out of his apartment in the 4300 block of West Belmont Avenue at 2:02 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he'd been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Community First Medical Center in good condition, police said.
