Man Shot In Groin In Humboldt Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 38-year-old man was shot in the groin Tuesday evening in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

Shortly before 6 p.m., he was walking in the 1100 block of North Hamlin Avenue when someone in a passing vehicle started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

He was struck in the groin and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
