Man Shot In Auburn-Gresham

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot Monday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, 21, was walking on the sidewalk in the 7800 block of South Carpenter Street about 10:40 p.m. when a male walked up and opened fire, police said.

The 21-year-old suffered a graze wound to the lower left leg and was taken in good condition to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, police said.
